Hundreds of vulnerable jobseekers have been conned out of money as part of a recruitment scam. According to Scam statistics, the jobs and employment scams in 2018 reached 2,841. The employment minister said one in 10 jobseekers had been affected by recruitment scams and a recent survey found;

56% believe job scams are now a big issue

62% of recruiters do not educate job seekers on scams
