Assistant Housing Manager (Fixed Term Contract)

Job Description

Court Management:

1. Runs a fully operational office

2. Maintains all records and equipment

3. Records and maintains court finances fully and accurately

4. Manages communal facilities

5. Efficiently and effectively maintains residents records and information

6. Effectively and efficiently manages emergency situations

Contract Management:

1. Ensures that any contracted communal services such as restaurants, hairdressers, gyms etc are delivering services in line with Housing & Care 21 and residents’ expectations. Escalates any concerns as appropriate.

2. Develop a productive working relationship with Housing & Care 21 staff responsible for on-site care delivery to ensure that responsibilities are clearly understood and that issues are addressed appropriately. Marketing,

Voids, Lettings and Tenancies:

1. Organises lettings applications, arranges tenancies and manages the lettings procedure.

2. Provides appropriate and accurate information to direct enquiries

3. Attends accompanied viewings

4. Liaises with local authority housing department

5. Liaises with local authority to ensure appropriate action is taken to fulfil nomination agreements

Personal Specification

 Experience of providing a professional, high quality housing service to older and/ or vulnerable people.  Experience of working within a secure and confidential environment and dealing with sensitive personal information.  Good general standard of education with GCSE’s (Grade C or above) in English and Maths  Substantial administrative experience  Supervisory or management qualifications (desirable)  Housing Management qualifications (desirable)
